The EDM Advantage began with using EDM to sink patterns into conductive materials. This process is called Sinker EDM, but is also called Conventional EDM, RAM EDM, or Plunger EDM. Regardless of the name the process utilizes a custom-made electrode to remove metal in a detailed pattern.
At Twin City EDM and Manufacturing we have fourteen Sinker EDM machines to help you with your prototype, your high-volume production parts, or anything in between. We have both manual and CNC Sinker EDM machines. Our Sinker EDM work is setup to take advantage of automation with tool changers and Workmaster robotic cell from System3R.
