Twin City EDM offers High Precision Machining CNC and Industrial Metal Cutting

Twin City EDM is paying more up front, to provide great savings for customers who need high precision CNC machining and industrial metal cutting on stainless steel, titanium, and hardened steel up to 55 Rockwell.

 

Executive vice president and general manager Steve Lindell says, "We are finding great success in CNC machining production combining multifulte carbide cutters with coolant holes with our high speed mills. We are getting longer tool life, better finishes, and faster machining cycle times."

 

Twin City EDM job shop has incorporated precision CNC machining new technology that adds coolant holes cost effectively especially in areas needed to increase tool life and reduce cycle times. The result has been that a great number of machining jobs now use CNC high speed milling and turning that in the past would have been electronic discharge machined because their hardness was more than 48 Rockwell.

EDM Micro Hole Popping and Precision EDM Service Improved

Twin City EDM has made two improvements in their EDM Micro Hole Popping facilities.

 

Twin City EDM has purchased upgraded guides for the new EDM micro hole poppers. They have also invested in a lot more sizes. Customers have been pleased with the EDM machining enhancements.

 

The upgraded guides have made the EDM Micro Hole Popping process smoother than ever - even when getting into counterbores, chamfers, and deep pockets.

 

The increase in EDM hole popping sizes has allowed customers to be even more precise when creating prototypes and final products or components.
